In a move that is causing the industry to take a deep look at itself the July issue of Italian Vogue features only black models shot by fashion photographer Steven Meisel. Mr. Meisel is also the photographer behind Madonna’s infamous 1992 book, “Sex”.

Legendary filmmaker Francis Ford Coppola and his daughter Sofia Coppola are the new faces of Louis Vuitton, they are featured in a country side setting shot by photographer Annie Leibovitz.
The Oscar award winning father and daughter duo appear in the countryside outside of Buenos Aires where the diretor is seated with Sofia lying at his side on the grass in an impressionistic and serene setting.
The core values campaign seeks to get back to the basics of Louis Vuitton by reinstating travel and the fundamental and defining value of Louis Vuitton. It highlights the company’s heritage in luggage and travel accessories.
Louis Vuitton is also promoting the environment with this campaign. The countryside photo shoot lends itself to LV’s dedication promoting environmental responsibility and sustainable development by making a donation to The Climate Project on behalf of the Coppola family.
Previous faces in the core vales campaign include Keith Richards, Mikhail S. Gorbachev, Catherine Deneuve, Andre Agassi and Steffi Graff.
